Tourist tradition inherited from the 19th century Located at the mouth of the Cabra River, it is the coastal limit between Llanes and Ribadedeva. La Franca is a triangular-shaped beach, with white sand, moderate waves and a semi-urban environment that has all the services. At low tide it connects with other coves such as El Oso, El Viveru and Regorgueru. Access is simple, which favors its high occupancy, although it is not overcrowded. It has a great tourist tradition since the 19th century, when it had a maritime spa. In the center of the sand is the islet of El Castrón, a habitual refuge for seagulls.

The sea churns about 100 meters from this original beach It is an inland beach, with no direct exit to the sea. It is made up of white sand and salty water, but the Cantabrian reaches about 100 meters and only seeps below the cliffs. With a semicircular shape, it is about 30 meters and is at the bottom of some meadows. Its waters are barely one meter deep. Along with a nearby cave, it has been declared a Natural Monument. It can only be reached on foot. The car is left on a path, located next to the railroad tracks, near Buelna. The last 350 meters are cross country.

This capricious cove is ideal to enjoy with the family It is a natural cove of great beauty, shaped like a capricious channel, which at low tide prevents you from seeing the sea from the bottom of the sand. Buelna is a beach that passes from 50 to 1,000 meters depending on the tides and is made up of fine white sand and rocks. One of the most famous is a calcareous pinnacle called El Picón. Jesters can be visited nearby. The beach is very familiar and with a safe bathroom. Although it lacks facilities and is not accessible, it registers a high level of occupation. It is accessed by a track from Buelna.

This Natural Monument has no visible connection to the sea It is an inland beach, with no direct exit to the sea. It is made up of white sand and salty water, but the Cantabrian reaches a few meters and only seeps below the cliffs. It measures about 40 meters in length and hardly remains with sand at high tide. It registers a phenomenon called drainage when the low tide begins. It is listed as a Natural Monument. Gulpiyuri does not have any service and is not accessible, since it is surrounded by meadows with a higher altitude. The closest town is Naves and the access is through an agricultural road.
